In general, it’s probably advisable to stay away from Egg NS. Additionally, the emulator only works when one’s Android phone is connected with a specific controller.
In contrast, Egg NS is closed-source and forces its users to create an online account for constant logins. According to folks that have dug through the emulator’s inner workings, it apparently uses coding ripped straight from Yuzu – another popular and more accessible Switch emulator. That’s where all the impressive facts about Egg NS end though, because everything else about it is super shady. Reportedly, the program is able to run titles such as Pokemon Sword/Shield and Hollow Knight at a decent performance with phones that are powerful enough – although it pretty much crashes immediately with more intensive games like Super Mario Odyssey.
